Job shadowing

Hello Everyone!
Today i got the opportunity to do some job shadowing. My neighbor is a photographer and she was doing a photoshoot today. She does mainly studio work so today she was shooting jewlery. It was great to get to see someone working. She explained alot about what you do and how it works.
She is a very cool person and very creative. I am glad that i got the chance to watch her work and see more of how it goes!

That would be my cat. I love him. We got him a while back. He is a part of our family. He is my only brother.

So this girl has almost finished her freshman year in college. She graduated last year. The first two pictures are from that the last one is on of my favorites it was taken when we went camping last year.
I am really proud of her. I don't think she knows how proud of her i am. I was on proud sister last year at this time and i still am.

It was a great weekend! The weather turend out to be great. I walked alot so did my dad.
They had fun games you could paticipate in if you wanted. The whale races were one of them. It was great to do something for what i really care about.

Short Post

I decided to take a break from homework and go take some pictures. One is of the corn seeds. They are now outside. Not planted in the ground yet but outside in there little pots.
One is of our tomato plants. and the other of just some pink flowers that were in the yard.

That would be how many more days of school i have left. That was including today. So now we have 14. I am excited, happy and ready for the school year to be over.
The only bad part about this time of year is studying for finals. I have alot of that to do right now. I might not have alot of pictures to share for the next couple of weeks.

Corn Seed Experiment: Day 7

I have not blogged about our corn seeds for a couple days. They sprouted a while ago. I just never got around to blogging that they did. They have grown quite abit. I think it is pretty cool. We will not put them outisde until they are alittle bigger.

Corn Seed Experiment: Day 3 And my Special Plant

Again not much change in our seeds. It is only day three. I am hoping they will sprout. I'm sure they will.


Seeds Day 3

So my favorite flower is a Dahlia. And my favorite color is orange. Several years ago when my Mom was at a garden show she found a orange dahlia and bought it for me. We planted it that year and it bloomed and was really pretty. But the next year it did no blume. I was really bummed because it was my favorite. Also it was special to me because my Mom gave it to me. So this year she bought me a new one and we started it awhile back.

This is a picture of the plant when it blumes. This was taken a couple years ago.

Corn Seed Experiment: Day 2

Not much happened with the corn seeds. Sorry i don't have a picture but it looks pretty much the same as yesterday.
Back to the normal school week routine.
Like i said before i don't get alot of time to take pictures during the school week. Especially now because it is getting to the end of the school year and i have finals to study for.

Corn Seed Experiment: Day 1

Corn seeds: Day 1


Today i planted some corn seeds. I decided afterwords that i would make it kindof a science experement. You probably wondering what this has to do with photography...not much. But i wanted to blog about it anyways.
Anyways each day i am going to take a picture of my corn seeds. Then i can see how much and how fast it takes them to grow. We are keeping them inside and and they are under lights. So of course that changes how fast it will take for them to sprout.

Theos Chocolate Tour

During the week i don't get alot of time to take pictures. But i want to share this with you. For my birthday we went on a tour of Theos Chocolate. It is a chocolate factory in Seattle. It was pretty fun. And i was really looking forward to getting some pictures.
